Langley School

The brief for Langley School was to design a new teaching and performance building within the historic school grounds.

The new facility will provide the school with much needed additional teaching facilities together with a generous performance hall and café where students, teachers and parents can come together.

The structure is designed to not distract from the buildings of historic value that surround it and it grows in contemporary boldness as it stretches from the delicate glazed foyer to the vibrant main hall.

The building will be future proofed by encompassing renewable heating and lighting options; air tightness; off site construction methods and waste recycling storage.
