Housing Developments, Winchester

This project fits four large modern houses into a tight site behind existing residences. The site is steeply sloping and benefits from extensive views over the countryside. The final design and layout were arrived at after extensive negotiations with the local authority.

Each of the houses has large rear windows taking full advantage of the beautiful views while a clean modern design and zinc roofs offer a strong sense of individual identity and appeal to the site. The alignment, form and use of materials helps reduce the appearance of the mass of the buildings enabling the development site comfortably alongside the existing buildings present in this area.
