The existing house is in very poor repair and will be refurbished as apart of the proposals. The derelict rear extension will be demolished. The proposal comprises of a new rear extension to aline with neighbour. The style of the proposed extension has a contemporary design with white render on the ground floor and zinc cladding on the first floor that sits well with the modern treatment to the extension of adjoining dwelling. The ground floor space will have a roof lantern to provide more internal daylight into the house. The space will provide kitchen and living accommodation with access to the private garden.

The proposed extension on the first floor will provide a new en-suite bedroom with dressing area.
