Quadra House
Quadra House is the redevelopment of an existing office building in Basingstoke, into 35 1 bed residential units for the developer Inland Homes. The scheme used permitted development to obtain a change of use, and a separate planning application was then used to alter the elevations of the building. The apartments are finished to a high standard throughout, with each benefitting from open-plan kitchen and living spaces with large windows. The communal areas are bright and well finished, with a communal garden occupying the internal courtyard. Externally the facades have been rendered, with all windows and doors have been replaced to upgrade both the performance and appearance of the building. The project has been a great success, with all units sold before the completion of the construction work.
